Roll Maps Faster: Efficient Map Crafting for Juiced Farming
Chiselling and rolling maps by hand eats hours over a league. Here's a system for rolling maps to your quant/pack-size thresholds — and automating it with a live stash-search filter.
If you farm maps at scale, rolling them is a tax you pay on every single one: Alchemy, check the mods, maybe Chaos, maybe re-roll a bricked one, repeat. Over a league that's hours of clicking. This guide lays out a threshold-based rolling system and shows how Exiled Bench turns it into a background task.
Roll for numbers, not vibes
Efficient map rolling is about thresholds, not reading every mod. Decide what you actually need:
- Increased Item Quantity (IIQ) ≥ your minimum (e.g. 70%+)
- Pack Size ≥ your minimum
- No forbidden mods — the ones your build can't do (reflect, no-leech/regen, etc.)
Everything else is noise. If a map clears your quant/pack thresholds and has none of your forbidden mods, it's good to go.
The forbidden list matters most
A single "monsters reflect physical damage" mod can kill a glass-cannon build instantly. The whole point of a rolling system is to guarantee those never make it into your map pool. List them once and never think about them again.
Doing it in Exiled Bench
The Maps mode is purpose-built for this:
- Pick your rolling currency (Alchemy, or Alch + Chaos for a re-roll loop).
- Set numeric thresholds: IIQ, IIR, Pack Size, More Maps.
- Add any required mods (must be present) and your forbidden mods (force a re-roll).
- Start — the app rolls each map and stops when it clears every condition.
Bonus: the live stash-search filter
As you set thresholds and mods, Exiled Bench builds a PoE stash-search string in real time that you can copy straight into the game's stash search box. So even for maps you don't auto-roll, you can instantly highlight which ones in a tab already pass your filter.
Batch the whole tab
Fill a stash tab with unrolled maps, calibrate the grid once, and run a sweep. Exiled Bench rolls every map to your thresholds in sequence and skips ones that already pass. A tab of ready-to-run juiced maps with zero manual clicking.
Save it as a guide
Different farming strategies want different thresholds. Save each as a named guide (e.g. "Legion juice", "Fast clear") and load the whole config in one click next time you sit down to farm.
Rolling maps will never be fun. But it can be something you set up once and forget.
