Frequently asked questions

Everything about safety, keys, payments, and setup — in plain language.

Safety & bans

Yes — any input automation can violate Path of Exile's Terms of Service and could result in a suspension or ban. We won't tell you the risk is zero. What we do is keep the tool in the least-invasive category (simulated input + clipboard reads only, no memory or packet access) and make the timing look human. Roll only on items you can afford to lose, and never run it unattended.

It's an auto crafter: it clicks the orbs and reads every result for you, and stops when your target lands. By GGG's rules that's automation, the same as any alt-spam macro or script, so the ban risk above applies to it too. What it adds over a homemade AutoHotkey or Python script is everything around the clicking: a 4,500+ mod database with tiers ranked per item type, stop rules (any one, all of them, one of each, groups), unwanted mods that reroll at once, a Safety limit, stash and inventory sweeps, and whole Alt → Regal → Exalt crafts from your stash.

Click positions get a small random offset within the target area; positions can repeat. Delays vary around a configured value rather than following a fixed rhythm. The app also waits for the clipboard to change before reading the next item state.

No. Exiled Bench never reads or writes game memory and never touches the game's network traffic. It reads item text from the Windows clipboard (Ctrl+C) and sends simulated mouse and keyboard input — the same category as AutoHotkey-style tools. The one exception to clipboard reading is Expedition: Tujen's haggle window can't be copied, so that page reads it from the screen.

Watch it. Because it sends real clicks to the game, you should stay at the machine and stop it if anything looks off — the game window needs focus while it rolls, so you can't play something else on top of it. Treat it like a tool you supervise, not a bot you leave overnight.

Licensing & keys

After you subscribe you get a serial key in the format EB1-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX. You enter it once in the app to activate, and it locks to that Windows installation, so it can't be shared across many PCs. Reinstalling the app on the same PC is fine; a fresh Windows install counts as a new PC, so ask support to move the key.

A key activates on one machine at a time. If you switch computers, contact support to release the old activation. This keeps keys from being shared while still letting you move to a new PC.

Sign in to your dashboard on this site. It shows your serial key, how your subscription is paid and whether it renews or when it ends. Buy Me a Coffee also emails the key to the address you pay with.

A cancelled subscription keeps working to the end of the month you've paid for, plus a short grace period. After that the app stops until you subscribe again, and then the same key works again. Nothing is deleted.

Payments & subscriptions

Two: the monthly option on our Buy Me a Coffee page, and a Boosty subscription. Both are managed and cancelled on that platform. One-off coffees on Buy Me a Coffee work too: each one at the monthly price buys a month, and nothing renews. More may be added over time; the Pricing page always shows what's live.

Not at the moment. The cheapest way to try it is a single one-off coffee on Buy Me a Coffee: one at the monthly price buys a month, and nothing renews. If the app won't run on your PC, contact support before anything else.

With Buy Me a Coffee, as soon as the payment goes through: the key is emailed to the address you paid with, and appears on your dashboard by itself if that's your account's confirmed email (otherwise the email has a one-click link to add it). With Boosty, link your subscription on the dashboard using the email you have on Boosty and confirm the link we send. If your Boosty account has no email, give us your Boosty name and we check it by hand.

No more than the payment platform itself needs. The account here holds just an email for your key and subscription, and we never ask for anything tied to your game account.

On the platform you subscribed on, Buy Me a Coffee or Boosty. Your licence keeps working to the end of the month you've already paid for.

There are no refunds for an account actioned by the game or for no longer wanting the tool; any other request is reviewed case by case. If the app doesn't work on your system, contact support and we'll help troubleshoot or make it right. The Refunds page has the details.

Not yet — the PoE 2 app isn't on sale. When it launches, a discount for owning both subscriptions is planned.

Setup & compatibility

A 64-bit Windows 10 or 11 PC. Current builds start without administrator rights. If you run Path of Exile elevated, the app offers to restart with matching rights so Windows can pass its input to the game.

It works with the English and the Russian client. Pick your game's language under Settings → General → Language: the app then reads your items in it and shows its own screens in it too. Other languages aren't supported yet.

We cannot identify a detection from the warning alone or declare every alert a false positive. The app uses keyboard hooks and simulated input, which can trigger heuristic detections. Download only through your account dashboard, keep protection enabled, and send support the app version and exact alert. SmartScreen's reputation warning for an unsigned build is separate from an antivirus detection; neither should be dismissed automatically.

No. You calibrate your stash or inventory once by lining a drawn grid up with the game's, pick a target mod, then Arm and press your start key. Under Help, the app has a one-minute tour and a nine-step guide, and the setup guide on this site covers first run step by step.

It can. Any tool that reads item text or clicks fixed positions depends on the game's UI staying stable. When a patch changes wording or layout we push an update — an active subscription always gets the latest build.

Yes. Instead of hardcoded pixels, you calibrate by fitting a drawn grid over your stash or inventory, so the tool maps to your actual resolution and monitor — and if you change monitor or resolution, it flags what needs redoing. Run Path of Exile in windowed or borderless windowed mode (not exclusive fullscreen) so clipboard reads and input land reliably.

The apps (PoE 1 & PoE 2)

They're separate apps for separate games, each with its own subscription. Exiled Bench for Path of Exile 1 is the released app. Exiled Bench 2 for Path of Exile 2 is in development and isn't on sale yet.

Not yet. Exiled Bench 2 is in development and isn't on sale. The Discord gets development and launch news first.
