Can I get banned for using Exiled Bench?

Accepted Answer

Yes — any input automation can violate Path of Exile's Terms of Service and could result in a suspension or ban. We won't tell you the risk is zero. What we do is keep the tool in the least-invasive category (simulated input + clipboard reads only, no memory or packet access) and make the timing look human. Roll only on items you can afford to lose, and never run it unattended.

How does it avoid looking like a bot?

Click positions get a small Gaussian pixel jitter so the cursor never lands on the exact same pixel, and every delay is drawn from a Gaussian distribution rather than a fixed value — the tool never ticks at a perfectly mechanical rhythm. It also waits for the clipboard to actually change before reading, so it behaves like a real player checking an item.

Does it read or modify the game's memory?

No. Exiled Bench never reads or writes game memory and never touches network traffic. It reads item text from the Windows clipboard (Ctrl+C) and sends simulated mouse and keyboard input — the same category as AutoHotkey-style tools.

Do I have to babysit it, or can I leave it running?

Watch it. Because it sends real clicks to the game, you should stay at the machine and stop it if anything looks off — the game window needs focus while it rolls, so you can't play something else on top of it. Treat it like a tool you supervise, not a bot you leave overnight.

How does the serial key work?

After you subscribe you get a serial key in the format PROE-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX. You enter it once in the app to activate. The key locks to your machine's hardware fingerprint, so it can't be shared across many PCs, but you can re-activate on the same machine after a reinstall.

Can I use one key on two computers?

A key activates on one machine at a time. If you switch computers, contact support to release the old activation. This keeps keys from being shared while still letting you move to a new PC.

Where do I find my key and how much time is left?

Sign in to your account dashboard on this site. It shows your serial key, which app it's for, how much subscription time remains, and a button to resubscribe.

What happens when my subscription runs out?

The app stops activating until you resubscribe — your key and account stay on file, so renewing re-activates the same key. Nothing is deleted; you just can't run the tool while the subscription is lapsed.

As soon as the payment is confirmed. The key is issued to your account automatically — sign in to the dashboard to copy it and activate the app. With crypto the wait is just network confirmation time.

Do I have to hand over personal details to pay?

No more than the payment method itself requires. Crypto needs only a wallet, and the account here needs just an email to hold your key and subscription — we don't ask for anything tied to your game account.

Is there a discount for buying both apps?

Accepted Answer

A bundle discount for owning both the PoE 1 and PoE 2 subscriptions is planned. For now each app is a separate subscription with its own price.

What do I need to run it?

Accepted Answer

A 64-bit Windows 10 or 11 PC. The app runs as administrator (Path of Exile runs elevated, and Windows blocks a normal app from sending input to an elevated one), so you'll see one UAC prompt at launch.

My antivirus flagged the download. Is it a virus?

Accepted Answer

It's a false positive. The app uses a global keyboard hook and sends mouse/keyboard input to the game — the same techniques some malware uses, which triggers heuristic AV flags. If needed, add an exclusion for the install folder. We're also working toward a code-signed build to clear this.

Do I have to configure a lot before I can roll?

No. You calibrate your stash or inventory once by clicking two corners, pick a target mod, and press start. Guides on this site walk you through first-run setup step by step.

Will a Path of Exile patch break it?

Accepted Answer

It can. Any tool that reads item text or clicks fixed positions depends on the game's UI staying stable. When a patch changes wording or layout we push an update — an active subscription always gets the latest build.

Does it work at my resolution or with multiple monitors?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Instead of hardcoded pixels, you calibrate by clicking the corners of your stash or inventory, so the tool maps to your actual resolution and monitor. Run Path of Exile in windowed or borderless windowed mode (not exclusive fullscreen) so clipboard reads and input land reliably.

What's the difference between the PoE 1 and PoE 2 apps?

They're separate apps for separate games. Exiled Bench (PoE 1) is the mature tool with the full set of rolling modes and a PoE 1 mod database. Exiled Bench 2 targets Path of Exile 2 — waystone and tablet rolling, item rolling, and a PoE 2-native mod database — because PoE 2's mod pool is entirely different. Each is its own subscription.
