Guide coverage
A complete utility-jewel goal, with real settings and a downloadable loadout

This is a small, useful first craft: you need one notable, rather than a perfect rare item. Enduring Composure grants armour and generates Endurance Charges if you have been hit recently. It does not generate charges just because the jewel is socketed; you must allocate the notable, and its hit condition must be met. PoEDB's notable entry gives the effect; this player discussion illustrates the allocation mistake.

Buy the base for the job

  • Small Cluster Jewel, with small passives granting 15% increased Armour.
  • 2 added passive skills if you want the shortest path to this notable. A 3-passive jewel can be intentional when the extra small passive is part of your build; it costs another allocation to reach the notable.
  • Ilvl 68–74 is our narrow rolling example. Enduring Composure unlocks at 68; keeping below 75 excludes Prismatic Carapace. Higher levels remain usable, but unlock extra options. If you want top small-passive effect or attributes as well, check those thresholds and change the filter.

These requirements come from the small-cluster modifier pool. This is a deliberate lower-level utility base. Paying for ilvl 86 adds no benefit to the single-notable goal. Conversely, an ilvl 67 jewel cannot naturally roll Enduring Composure.

Alterations change explicit modifiers, not the enchant or passive count. An ES or reservation-efficiency cluster is not a substitute in this normal rolling recipe. Fracture/enchant-transfer examples use extra mechanics and are a different craft.

Roll the notable with Exiled Bench

  1. Use Items, Cluster Jewel, Magic, On my cursor, and Stash. Calibrate your stash; set item size 1 × 1 and the actual count. For one jewel, use Single and capture its item slot.
  2. In Target mods → Mod DB, add Enduring Composure only. Stop when → Any one is sufficient. Leave Augment → Until a hit: a suffix-only magic roll has a free prefix, so an Augment can find the notable. Once the target lands, stop.
  3. Set Item level → 68–74 for this example. Manually check enchant and passive count before filling the batch; that filter checks level only.
  4. Choose a Safety limit you can afford. The example uses 12 jewels and 1,000 clicks, which are editable limits rather than a cost estimate.
  5. Keep Augmentations available, Arm, then right-click the Alteration stack without Shift, as the app's held-orb instructions specify. Press your configured start key.

Download the Enduring Composure loadout. Import it through the app's loadout controls. Its target and level range were exported and reimported with the real app; the stopping check accepts a jewel with the notable and rejects one without it. It does not validate the base enchant or provide your machine's calibration.

A magic hit already fulfils this goal

A magic cluster with Enduring Composure can be socketed and allocated. You do not need to turn it rare to activate the notable. Stop here if the utility is all you need. GhazzyTV's gear guide independently recommends an armour small cluster at 68+ and Alteration rolling for this target.

For additional random modifiers, the app can apply a Regal automatically. On a separate Single setup for the already-approved magic jewel, choose From my stash, enable Regal to Rare, and use After the target → Add Exalts, Max exalts → 0, Annuls → 0, with pre-Regal Augmentation disabled. Keep Enduring Composure as the target. Calibrate Regal currency; this makes it rare without an Exalt allowance. Confirm that the starting item is magic: do not send a valuable rare jewel into an Alt/reset loop.

A Regal adds a random mod; it does not promise life, resistance or a second notable. If you want more rare mods, allow ordinary Exalts only within your budget and open slots. They cannot choose the side or the mod. An ordinary Annul can remove Enduring Composure, so it is not required here.

Check the result in your build

Socket the jewel in a compatible cluster socket, allocate the connecting small passive and Enduring Composure, then check charge generation after an actual hit. Damage over time is not a hit. Check whether your build consumes charges or has another charge source before valuing the result. A stopped run with no target hit remains an unfinished craft.

For a recipe that deliberately needs multiple notables, see the medium Chaos DoT cluster or large attack cluster.
